This Privacy Policy explains how information about you is collected, used and disclosed by Progress Georgia. This Privacy Policy applies to information we collect when you use our websites, mobile sites, mobile applications and other online services that link to this Privacy Policy (collectively, the “Sites”).

We may change this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make changes, we will notify you by revising the date at the top of the policy and, in some cases, we may provide you with additional notice (such as adding a statement to our homepage or sending you an email notification). INFORMATION YOU PROVIDE TO US

We collect information you provide directly to us. Progress Georgia maintains strict privacy policies, ensuring that personal information of our users and members is not sold, rented, released, or traded to others without prior consent or a legal obligation. Personal information includes name, email address, phone number, and other contact information.

OPT-OUT OPTION

If you are receiving text messages from us and wish to stop receiving them. Simply respond with “stop” to the number from which you received the text message. Once we receive your opt-out message, you will no longer receive further text messages from us.

Progress Georgia is based in the United States, and the information we collect is governed by U.S. law. By accessing or using the Sites or otherwise providing information to us, you consent to the processing and transfer of information in and to the U.S. and other countries.

CONTACTING YOU

We will primarily be contacting you by email but may contact you via email, phone and SMS text message. By signing up, and giving us you phone number, you agree to receive text messages from us. You may receive between 1-10 text messages from us a month, but, message frequency will vary based on user needs. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel, HELP for help.

By giving us your phone number, you agree to receive sms automated text messages and automated phone calls. To withdraw your consent, please email us at info@progressga.org and include your name and phone number.

SHARING OF INFORMATION

We may share information about you as follows or as otherwise described in this Privacy Policy:

If you sign an online petition, you understand that such petition is public information and that we may make the petition, and your name, city, state, and any comments provided in connection therewith publicly available. CHILDREN’S ONLINE PRIVACY PROTECTION ACT

We do not knowingly, directly or passively, collect information from children under the age of 13. To respect the privacy of children and to comply with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act, children under the age of 13 should not provide any Personal Information on this Site. We ask that parents supervise their children while online.
