Joseph (he/him) is a Hispanic, Black, and queer student at Dekalb School of the Arts, a deeply underfunded and very diverse school. He helped organize a walk out for LGBTQ student rights and has an awareness of the conditions of his school (crumbling buildings, teacher shortage, leaks).
