I attended a school board meeting at which there was a gun, and I want to write about how that impacted not only myself, but also other organizers who attend Forsyth BOE meetings. I want to use my experience to argue that guns don’t belong anywhere near students due to the impact seeing a gun in a place that is supposed to be safe has on students.
